Short Bio

Hello!👋 I am a first year CS PhD student at University of Illinois Urbana Champaign under the advisement of Prof. Heng Ji. I am fortunate to be supported by Amazon AI PhD Fellowship. My research interest mainly lies in:

• AI Alignment: Training (vision-)language models to follow human intents and values and creating scalable alignment approaches that can continually align the intents of AI models with human objectives even when they surpass human capacity.
• Human-Model Interaction: Developing trustworthy human-centered (vision-)language models that can facilitate their seamless interaction and collaboration with individuals from diverse backgrounds and serve as genuinely helpful partners to people.
